Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Redding, California store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per company standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers.
- Respond to sick/injured pets, assist departments, and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy pet environments.
