Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and maintain safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per standards.
- Ensure safe environments, respond to pet health issues, and recommend products.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
Physical Demands
Stand, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), work in wet/hairy environments with moderate to high noise and live animals.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Passion for pets is key.
