Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Richmond, VA salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Ensure safe environment; transport sick pets to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling comfort, customer service skills, organizational prowess, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals.
