Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Richmond, VA salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with opportunities to advance in pet wellness careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per company standards.
• Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-in/out procedures, and recommend wellness solutions.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness, ensure pet safety, and respond to sick/injured pets by transporting to vet if needed.
• Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments as required.
• Follow all policies while participating in team recognition initiatives.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, handling pets in wet/noisy environments. Passion for animals and customer service essential.
