Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Richmond, TX store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while ensuring pet safety and parent satisfaction. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend products, and ensure safe environment for pets/associates.
- Assist other departments and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work in wet/noisy pet environments. Passion for animals essential.
