Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Richmond, Texas salon, you'll deliver exceptional bath and brush services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact in a pet-loving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full grooming services independently per PetSmart standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and consultations with pet parents.
- Ensure safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and transport to vets as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments.
- Sell merchandise and wellness solutions based on pet needs.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet, pet-hair-filled environments with moderate noise.
