Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Rochester store involves hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean environment amid a dynamic pet retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend health/wellness solutions.
- Ensure pet safety, report issues, and transport sick pets to vets as needed.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.
- Follow all policies, embracing our culture of belonging and recognition.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, noisy environment with live animals.
