Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety/cleanliness standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a supportive environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and consultations in-person or via phone.
• Ensure pet safety, respond to sick/injured pets, and maintain a clean salon/store.
• Recommend wellness solutions and merchandise to enhance pet health.
• Assist other departments and follow all policies for a culture of belonging.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments, moderate-high noise, and live animals. Reasonable accommodations available.
