Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and ensures pet safety. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, safe salon environment in our Roseville store. Ideal for animal lovers seeking meaningful work with flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and safety certification to perform bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide phone support for positive experiences.
• Identify sick/injured pets, take immediate action including vet transport if needed.
• Recommend wellness solutions, sell merchandise/services, and uphold store cleanliness.
• Assist other departments, follow policies, and contribute to our recognition culture.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Success demands pet-handling comfort, customer service prowess, organizational skills, pressure composure, communication excellence, and schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays). Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, noisy, pet-filled environment.
