Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Round Rock store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean environment. Ideal for animal lovers with flexible schedules seeking rewarding retail-pet care work.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
• Ensure pet safety, report sick/injured animals, and transport to vet as needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.
• Follow all policies while participating in recognition programs.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Successful candidates demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments, moderate-high noise, and live animals.
