Role Overview

The Pet Bather role at our Sacramento location delivers exceptional grooming services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. You'll handle full bath and brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care while upholding safety standards and recommending wellness solutions. This entry-level position offers flexibility and impact in a dynamic pet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-in/out procedures.
• Independently perform all bathing services per company standards.
• Ensure safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets.
• Maintain cleanliness, assist other departments, sell merchandise.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hairy environments, and animal handling.
