Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Saint Charles, Missouri location, you'll engage pet parents and their furry companions, delivering top-tier bathing services while upholding PetSmart's vision of pet safety, wellness, and satisfaction. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in pet care with room to advance in our salons.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide exceptional pet parent experiences.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend health/wellness solutions.
- Ensure safe environments, responding immediately to sick/injured pets.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, and excellent communication are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in pet-heavy environments.
