Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety and cleanliness. This entry-level role suits animal lovers with flexible schedules, offering meaningful impact through grooming that wags tails and delights owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions in-person or by phone.
• Independently execute full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
• Ensure safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and recommend wellness solutions.
• Maintain store cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, wet environment with moderate noise and live animals.
