Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Salisbury store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean environment. Ideal for animal lovers seeking flexible, rewarding work with evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out procedures.
- Recommend health solutions and merchandise; ensure pet safety and report issues.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness; assist other departments as needed.
- Follow policies, participate in Belonging culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hairy environments, moderate-high noise, and animal handling. Depth perception essential; accommodations available.
