Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Salisbury, MD location, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care while upholding PetSmart's vision of excellence in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend solutions, and assist other departments.
- Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets immediately.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
