Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean salon environment in a dynamic retail setting. Ideal for animal lovers seeking meaningful work with flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete mandatory Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend health/wellness solutions.
• Ensure safe environments; transport sick/injured pets to vets as needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Must demonstrate pet handling comfort, customer service prowess, organizational skills, communication abilities, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking extensively, and working in wet/noisy environments with live animals. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays essential.
