Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our San Antonio salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and maintain a safe, clean environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with full training provided through PetSmart's Splash program.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete check-in/out, reservations, and provide full bath/brush services per standards.
- Greet pet parents, answer questions, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Ensure pet safety, respond to injuries, and maintain salon cleanliness.
- Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments as needed.
- Follow all policies, participating in recognition culture.
Experience & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Splash training completion and safety certification.
- Computer proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure.
- Flexible availability for evenings/weekends/holidays.
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs+, stand extensively, and work in wet/noisy environments with animals.
