Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our San Antonio, Texas location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering top-tier salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care. Uphold PetSmart’s vision by ensuring pet safety, store cleanliness, and exceptional customer experiences both in-person and at the register.

Essential Physical Demands

Stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs (team lift over 100 lbs), work in wet environments with pet hair, moderate to high noise, and handle live animals. Depth perception required; reasonable accommodations available.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and safety certification.
• Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-in/out procedures.
• Perform full menu of bath services per PetSmart standards.
• Recommend health solutions and sell merchandise/services.
• Ensure safe environment; transport sick pets to vet if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Entry-level role requiring pet care passion, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. No prior experience needed—training provided.
