Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our San Antonio salon combines hands-on pet care with customer service in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart Splash training for safe bathing practices.
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services independently.
- Ensure salon/store cleanliness and pet safety; respond to health issues promptly.
- Recommend products/services and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet affinity, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible availability, organizational skills, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs in a wet, noisy, pet-filled setting. Strong communication is key.
