Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our San Antonio, Texas salon, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering top-tier bathing services while upholding PetSmart’s vision, mission, values, and safety standards. Share responsibility for store cleanliness and pet wellness recommendations in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Ensure pet safety; transport sick/injured pets to vet as needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and recommend merchandise/services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and thrive in a fast-paced, pet-filled environment with moderate noise and wet conditions.
