Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our San Francisco salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room to advance.
Key Responsibilities
Core Grooming Duties
Independently perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per PetSmart standards. Complete Splash training for safety certification.
Customer & Pet Experience
Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and consultations. Share health/wellness recommendations and sell merchandise/services.
Safety & Operations
Maintain safe environments, report sick/injured pets, ensure cleanliness, and assist other departments. Follow all policies while participating in recognition culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Need proficiency in computers, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy pet environments with depth perception.
