Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, sharing store cleanliness duties and recommending wellness solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-in/out procedures.
- Ensure pet safety, handle sick/injured pets, transport to vet if needed.
- Recommend merchandise/services, maintain salon/store cleanliness.
- Assist other departments, follow policies, foster Belonging culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, computer proficiency, pressure-handling ability, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments and moderate noise.
