Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll engage pet parents and their furry friends, delivering top-tier salon services while upholding safety and cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a supportive retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions in-person or by phone.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets, ensuring safe transport to vets if needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness, recommend health solutions, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, and working in wet, pet-filled environments with moderate noise.
