Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan location involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment amid a dynamic pet retail setting.

Essential Physical Demands

Expect to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs (team lift over 100 lbs), stoop, kneel, and handle pets in a wet, noisy environment with pet hair and mechanical parts. Depth perception required; accommodations available.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver full bath/brush services per PetSmart standards; manage check-ins/outs and reservations; recommend products; ensure pet safety including vet transport if needed; maintain cleanliness; assist other departments; follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—complete our Splash training. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Passion for pets is key.
