Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Saugus, MA location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness while building lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide full bath/brush services independently.
- Greet pet parents, answer questions, and recommend products/services.
- Maintain a safe environment; transport sick/injured pets to vet if needed.
- Ensure store cleanliness and assist other departments as required.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, proficiency in computers, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
