Role Overview
The Pet Bather role delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety/cleanliness standards. This entry-level position offers hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Physical Demands
Expect standing, walking, lifting up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), handling wet/hairy conditions, moderate-to-high noise, and animal exposure. Depth perception required; accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person/phone/register.
- Ensure safe environment, respond to sick/injured pets, recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain store cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, assist other departments.
- Embrace Belonging culture and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational/detail focus, and strong communication. Passion for pets is key.
