Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Schaumburg store, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and teeth cleaning, while upholding safety standards and store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Perform full bath/brush services independently per company standards.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets, transporting to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and recommend health/wellness products.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), work in wet/hairy environments with moderate-high noise and live animals.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Passion for pets is key.
