Role Overview

The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll deliver professional bathing services, ensure pet safety, and provide exceptional customer experiences. This entry-level position offers hands-on pet care, sales opportunities, and pathways to grooming careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart's Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend health/wellness solutions.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and ensure a safe environment for pets, associates, and customers.
• Assist with sick/injured pets, merchandise sales, and other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
