Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and ensures pet safety. This entry-level role in our Scottsdale store involves bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more, while upholding cleanliness and recommending solutions. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is key in this dynamic pet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services independently.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
• Maintain safety, identify sick pets, and transport to vet if needed.
• Recommend merchandise/services and keep salon/store clean.
• Assist other departments and foster a culture of belonging.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hairy environments, and animal exposure.
