Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver salon services, uphold safety standards, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care while recommending solutions and fostering positive experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, greet pet parents, and answer questions.
• Ensure safe environments; respond to sick/injured pets and transport to vet if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, recommend merchandise/services, assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings, weekends, holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet environments, pet hair, noise, and live animals. Depth perception and team lifting required.
