As a Pet Bather in our Selma store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to a clean, welcoming environment. Perfect for animal lovers seeking entry-level pet care roles.
Key Responsibilities
Core Grooming Duties
- Independently perform baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
Customer & Pet Experience
- Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out procedures.
- Recommend health solutions and merchandise based on pet needs.
- Monitor pet health; transport sick/injured pets to vet as needed.
Store Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and safety across the store.
- Assist other departments and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
