Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic pet salon environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide outstanding pet parent experiences.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend wellness solutions, and assist in other departments.
- Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets and transport to vet if needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet, noisy conditions with live animals.
