Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Smithfield, NC store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. Ideal for animal lovers seeking flexible, rewarding work.
Key Responsibilities
Core Grooming Duties
Independently perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards. Complete Splash training for safety certification.
Customer Experience
Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and sales. Share health solutions and sell merchandise to meet pet needs.
Safety & Maintenance
Maintain safe environments, report sick pets for vet transport, and uphold store cleanliness. Assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring pet passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends/holidays. Exposure to wet environments, pet hair, and moderate noise common.
