Role Overview
The Pet Bather role combines hands-on pet care with exceptional customer service. You'll deliver professional bathing services, ensure pet safety, and enhance the salon experience, all while upholding PetSmart's commitment to pet parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage check-in/out, reservations, and sales register.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend health/wellness solutions.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets, ensuring a safe environment.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
