Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Spanish Springs, Nevada store, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling and advancement potential in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
- Maintain salon cleanliness, recommend products, and assist other departments.
- Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets and transport to vet if needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals.
