Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, deliver exceptional salon services while engaging pet parents. Uphold PetSmart's vision through positive experiences, pet safety, and store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets and transport to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, assist other departments.
- Follow all policies, participate in recognition culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Need computer proficiency, pressure-handling, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, strong communication. Physical demands: lift 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), stand/walk, exposure to wet/hair/noise/animals.
