Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and maintains salon excellence. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and upholding safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend health/wellness solutions.
• Ensure safe environment for pets, associates, and customers; report and transport sick/injured pets as needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.
• Drive sales through merchandise/service recommendations while following all policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Successful candidates demonstrate pet affinity, customer service skills, organizational prowess, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in wet/noisy conditions with animals. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays essential. Proficiency in computers and strong communication required.
