Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in St Cloud, Florida, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering salon services like baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care. Uphold PetSmart’s vision while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and positive experiences. This entry-level role offers flexibility and paths to advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or via phone.
- Independently perform full bath/brush services per PetSmart standards.
- Recommend health/wellness solutions and sell merchandise/services.
- Maintain safe, clean salon environment; assist other departments.
- Identify and act on sick/injured pets, transporting to vet as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise and live animals.
