Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our St. John's location, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services, and uphold pet safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care while contributing to store success through positive interactions and wellness recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
- Maintain safe environments, report sick/injured pets, and assist with vet transport if needed.
- Recommend health solutions, sell merchandise/services, and keep salon/store clean.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet, pet-filled environments with moderate noise.
