Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role ensures positive experiences through bathing, brushing, and wellness recommendations, upholding PetSmart's safety standards and store cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services independently.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and customer inquiries in-person or by phone.
- Maintain safe environments, report sick pets, and assist with transport if needed.
- Recommend health solutions and merchandise to enhance pet wellness.
- Support store-wide cleanliness and cross-department tasks as required.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, and comfort with pets. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand for shifts, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include handling animals in wet, noisy environments.
