Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in St Thomas, Ontario, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail setting, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per standards.
- Maintain store cleanliness and recommend health/wellness solutions.
- Ensure pet safety, respond to emergencies, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
