Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Starkville location, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and ensure a safe, clean environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room to advance.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart Splash training and perform bath, brush, nail trims, and sanitary services.
- Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain salon cleanliness, pet safety, and respond to health emergencies.
- Sell merchandise/services and assist other store departments as needed.
- Uphold company policies and participate in recognition programs.
Experience & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Computer proficiency and strong communication skills.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, composure under pressure.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), work in wet/hairy environments with moderate-high noise and live animals.
