Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Statesville, NC location, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This entry-level role involves salon operations, customer engagement, and maintaining top safety and cleanliness standards in a dynamic pet retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person and via phone.
- Ensure safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise.
