Role Overview

PetSmart’s Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, welcoming salon environment in our Stroudsburg store.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and safety certification to perform bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and consultations in-person or via phone.
• Ensure pet safety, report sick/injured animals, and transport to vet if needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend wellness products/merchandise.
• Assist other departments and follow all company policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, organizational abilities, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet-hair-filled, wet environment with moderate noise.
