Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Surrey, BC location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in pet care, customer service, and salon operations in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions in-person and via phone.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend products/services, and ensure safe environment for pets/associates.
- Assist other departments, follow policies, and respond to pet health emergencies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Strong organization, communication, and ability to lift 50+ lbs essential. Physical demands include standing, bending, and exposure to wet/noisy environments with animals.
