Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Surrey salon involves hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Ensure pet safety, respond to injuries, and maintain salon/store cleanliness.
- Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments as needed.
- Participate in Belonging culture and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals.
