Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean salon environment in a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
- Ensure pet safety, respond to sick/injured pets, and transport to vet as needed.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.
- Follow all policies while participating in team recognition initiatives.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet-filled, wet environment with moderate noise.
