Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Thunder Bay, Ontario salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Perform bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend products, assist other departments.
- Ensure pet safety; transport injured pets to vet if needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments and live animals.
