Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Tigard store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and ensure a safe, clean environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and perform full bath/brush services independently.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain salon cleanliness, pet safety, and take action on sick/injured pets.
- Sell merchandise/services and assist other store departments.
- Follow all policies while participating in recognition programs.
Experience & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and composure under pressure.
- Proficiency in computers; excellent communication skills.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift 50+ lbs, work in wet/hairy environments with moderate-high noise and live animals. Depth perception required; reasonable accommodations available.
