Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Topeka salon,you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards,maintain cleanliness,and drive positive experiences in a fast-paced pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart Splash training and perform full bath/brush,nail trims,teeth brushing,sanitary services.
- Handle check-in/out,reservations,answer questions,process sales.
- Ensure safe environment for pets,associates,parents;respond to sick/injured pets.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness,recommend products/services.
- Assist other departments,participate in recognition culture.
Experience & Skills
Required
- Pet handling comfort,proficiency in computer apps.
- Strong communication,organization,attention to detail.
- Flexible schedule for evenings,weekends,holidays.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively,lift 50lbs frequently (team lift 100lbs+),work in wet/noisy environment with animals. Depth perception required.
